Creating a Welcoming, Safe Tasting Environment
At Friends of the Vine Wine Society, our mission is to foster a warm, welcoming, and safe community centered around the enjoyment and appreciation of wine. To ensure a fantastic experience for everyone, all members and guests are expected to adhere to these community standards.

 

Standards of Conduct

• Respectful Interaction: Treat all members, guest speakers, venue staff, and hosts with courtesy and respect. Inclusivity and friendliness are core to our society.

• Responsible Consumption: Wine tastings are meant for appreciation, learning, and enjoyment. We advocate for responsible drinking and expect all attendees to monitor their own consumption.

• Event Guest Rules: Members are responsible for their guests’ conduct. Guests must adhere to the same expectations and policies as members while attending any society function.

• Zero Tolerance: Harassment, disruptive behavior, or excessive intoxication will not be tolerated. The Board reserves the right to ask anyone displaying inappropriate behavior to leave an event and to review, suspend, or terminate their membership without refund.
